💎 You're not alone. We all naturally avoid and pull away from heavy and uncomfortable feelings.
💦 It's healthy and human, not weak or overly sensitive, to be affected by emotional energy. Feelings are intense and directly impact the mind, body, and energy field.
💙 It's okay to sleep in, call in, or raincheck plans when you need extra time and space to recover from big feels. Emotional hangover is real 💤
💎 The thoughts or narratives we attach to feelings can be exhausting. Notice the story you're telling yourself about a feeling you had today. Is it possible that the feeling is real, but the story is not true?
💦 Name it to tame it. When you're emotionally activated, see if you can name the biggest feeling you're experiencing. To name it, try "I'm feeling ____ right now" vs. "I am ____."⚡Words have immense power, and we can soften the emotional blow by dis-identifying with feelings and thoughts - which are temporary energies, not identities.
💙 No feeling is final. Emotional ups and downs can absolutely bring us to our knees, but the nature of energy and our emotional body is change. The less we attach to a feeling the sooner it flows through us and allows space for new energy to come in. 👉 Feel without judging it or making a story about it. Don't think, just feel.
